With impressive dimensions, the ALCOR project consisted of a 120ton and 8.75 meters height piece. Transported in two sections to Setubal (Sadoport) pier for retrofitting and shipping to Antwerp, Belgium. This was another complex logistic project that required a meticulous planning and a careful execution, paying special attention to detail namely road obstacles.

Moving two fragile tanks for UREIA SPRAY project, required coordination of means and the same rigor in operations planning as usual. Initially placed between two concrete buildings, with limited access for the lifting means, transported and subsequently placed inside a building with very limited ground clearance, demanded the use of specific means and to rely on thrusters skills to get the tanks into position, undamaged and fully functional.

It is a new loading record with shore cranes in Setubal port. Manufactured by Metalurgica Central de Alhos Vedros (MCAV), one of the three columns loaded, weighed over 166 Tons. This was effectively the heaviest piece loaded with shore cranes in Setubal port. For the loading operation, two cranes were used. One was the well-known Gottwald from Sadoport, and the other was the brand new LTM1750 from Portuguese company Transgrua.
