Proj. São Tomé e Principe

XCELLOGIS, Lda. has successfully completed the transport of three 55ton generators, from Aveiro-PT to Santo Amaro electric power plant in São Tomé e Principe island. Transport and offloading operations with some degree of complexity given site conditions. Truck and crane were also transported from Portugal. Local entities who assisted the operations performed well and thanks to all parties involved, the 3 generators can now serve the needds the nice people of São Tomé

XCELLOGIS awarded with another demanding project...

Fortunately some of the Portuguese companies continue to score international projects on the metalworking heavy equipment industry. In this particular case are high temperature furnaces to Russia for the BIH project. Again XCELLOGIS, Lda. deserved the confidence and was appointed for the logistic organization and management of this project, which will be extend into 2015 and 2016. One more challenge that we expect to deliver according to our client’s and business partners expectations.

21 Modules and one more customer...

Clothed with particular complex due to the high number of parts to handle, transport and load, plus a center of mass experimental determination process. The LURGI project was another logistic challenge, involving cargo operations on site, transportation, stowage and loading means at the port, as well as an innovative service for center of mass experimental determination for the 21 modules. Using specifically developed software for this project, as well as load cells, it was possible to experimentally determine the center of mass for the 21 modules. Coordination and cooperation between the all the entities made ​​this project a successful one. Let’s aim for the next one!
